
More of our October family project!





This month, our family project was to disguise a pumpkin as your favorite book character!! Here are
some of the results!





This week we talked about different buildings we knew and what they were made of. We also read and compares different 3 Little Pigs stories! On Friday, we designed our own little houses and tested out their strength and structure against the Big Bad Wolf (the fan)! In science, we have been learning different vocabulary words such as, structure and shelter, which also connected to this fun activity!!





Kindergarten went on a walking field trip to the Linden Fire Station! 🔥🚒





Mrs. Mawhinney’s Kinders made Witch’s Brew today!

We took our learning to the SMART board! Students wrote singular nouns and changed them to be plural nouns.




1st graders worked with a partner to sort out singular and plural nouns!





Students went on a hunt around the room to find number patterns !! We are practicing for our test on Friday!




Working with our table friends to sort words that make contractions!




Yesterday we read, “Creepy Carrots!” We identified the characters, setting, events, and made a creepy carrot!





First grade students performing a science investigation by creating models and recording their findings with our new science curriculum!


We are loving this warm fall weather! We decided to “hang out” before we walked to the busses this afternoon!




We are busy learning popcorn words and fixing mixed up sentences!

Our Kinders went above and beyond SOARING to earn SOAR tickets in class today! They were:
S- staying safe
O- offering kindness
A- acting responsibly
R- remembering respect
Working quietly, cleaning up for themselves and others, walking in the hallway nicely, and ready to learn! So proud of them.🦅
